Spider Strategies has an opening for a talented, experienced Project Analyst to join our government contracting team.

Must have a DOD secret (or interim) clearance. Prior experience with US Military preferred.

Job Description

Serves as a Project Analyst and consultant on strategic and performance management issues.

Using a modified scorecard approach as the management process and the online software tool as the documenting approach, the incumbent assists in translating strategy into measurable initiatives, setting targets and measuring the performance of those initiatives.

The goal is to establish links between resources and performance, and leverage a business intelligence technology to more accurately forecast the outcome of resource decisions.

Other tasks involve such actions as supporting strategic review meetings, linking budgets and strategies, and evaluating strategic investments.

Requirements:

Knowledge of and prior use of balanced scorecard methodology approach is a requirement. Demonstrated understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of planning and operations effectiveness and improvement of complex management processes and systems; the use of strategic planning and management techniques (such as strategy maps) is a key factor.
Demonstrated understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment is also required.

This position requires knowledge of strategic and performance management programs and processes, strategic planning, military readiness systems, and related regulations/publications; Army force structure and organizational structure for both administrative and war fighting purposes, and of a wide range of management techniques for management of highly complex functions and processes.

Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must in order to prepare concise recommendations, reports, and briefings to senior-level agency officials.

Capability to plan, organize, and complete studies and analysis related to assigned actions.

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, to include Excel and Access.

Must have a college degree.

Knowledge of performance management software is desirable.
