Surface Computing

Videos of the first surface computing prototypes aimed at consumers have been popping up on the web today, and I’m absolutely amazed at what they’re doing already. This site has a video that shows off some impressive interaction with a digital camera.

  1. To me it looks like they did a good job with the software but not with the hardware. You can do the same things with photos and maps on the iPhone and it’s an order of magnitude cheaper ($500 for the iPhone vs $5,000-$10,000 for one of Microsoft’s devices)
