CMS Overview
Spider Strategies' Corporate Management Suite (CMS) is a web-based application that allows organizations to completely automate performance management. It integrates scorecards, action planning, meeting management, document management, and key metric reporting.
CMS's power lies in its flexible architecture. It was built to support a wide range of performance management methodologies, allowing you to use a particular philosophy, or design your own.
Scoreboard
Scoreboard takes the proven power of scorecards and combines it with the information at a glance approach of dashboards. It doesn't matter if you're using Management by Strategic Initiatives, KPI, Balanced Scorecards, Metric Tracking, or virtually any other performance management methodology, Scoreboard has the right tools to get the job done.
Scoreboard also includes a powerful scorecard "alignment" function. With CMS, true Balanced Scorecard "Aligned Objectives" can be easily created to allow scorecards to show the performance of their own objectives and measures, or of supporting objectives across various scorecards. "Rack and Stack" navigation automates the creation of Strategy Maps and Organization Performance Charts eliminating the need for laborious drag and drop manual creation.
Report Writer
Slice and dice the performance data in your CMS database and then create exciting Flash presentation graphs. Compare metrics within scorecards or across scorecards. Look for positive and negative trends. Then bookmark your report so it is available every time you login.
Strategy Maps
A Strategy Map looks a lot like a Microsoft PowerPoint slide at first glance. It starts out as a blank canvas and you add images, shapes, text, and numbers to create a visual representation of your data. The big difference, however, is that once you make a Strategy Map, the colors and numbers automatically update based on the real data in your system.
Our Strategy Maps are a perfect fit for Balanced Scorecard Strategy Maps, but they can do so much more. You can use them to track key metrics, visualize geographic data, or even monitor trends.
Action Planner
The CMS Action Planner manages everything in your organization that needs getting done. Auto generated to-do lists make delegating tasks a snap and allow you to see your action items at a glance. Sophisticated Gantt charts give a bird's eye view of what is going on in your organization today as well as what you have planned for next month or next year. In order to accommodate all kinds of Action Plans, tasks and actions can track budget information and can be assigned to one or more individuals or groups.
Meeting Manager
Meeting Manager allows you to schedule meetings, assign attendees, and then keep all of your meeting notes online. Attendees get an email when the meeting is scheduled and then a reminder before the meeting takes place. Meeting actions can be assigned during the meeting or updated in subsequent meetings. Team Talk allows you to communicate information with other groups, assuring true collaboration across the organization.
Document Manager
Share files securely within your organization with Document Manager. In addition to regular uploads and downloads, it also keeps track of different versions of a file, enabling users to track changes over time or revert to a previous version. When paired with other modules, Document Manager becomes even more powerful, allowing you to associate files with metrics, tasks, and meetings.
